Effective immediately Fire Goddess will no longer print and include in your order shipments a copy of your invoice.  As an effective and resource conserving alternative we will e-mail a copy of your invoice so you can maintain a permanent digital record of your purchases. This will radically reduce the amount of paper, toner, ink electricity and energy we consume to satisfy each and every order.  On average, every month, Fire Goddess ships over 100 orders!  That’s a saving of 400 sheets of printer paper a month or over 4,800 sheets a year.  Printer toner and ink will be cut in half and the energy use to run the printer, make the ink, paper and toner will also be radically reduced.

Also please notice that we are now using a cheerfully wonderful multi-colored 100% biodegradable packing peanuts made by a company in Tennessee; Puffy Stuff.  What is Puffy Stuff?  It is an all-natural packing material made from grain protein.  Unlike other plant-base loose fill, PUFFY STUFF is completely biodegradable by ISO definition (100% consumed by bacteria).

Fire Goddess also used no lead in the creation of our embellishments, pendants and components.  We limited, reduce or remain responsible to eliminate any harmful product used in the processing of our metal finishes, or sculpted glass finishes and any other process requiring chemicals, petrochemicals or hazardous waste or byproducts.  We avoid the inclusion of nickel in our metals as nickel is an aggravating metal to the skin of a large percentage of the population. 

The German silver is 80% nickel and Fire Goddess recommends avoiding the use and purchase of the very cheap German silver which is NOT silver at all.  Furthermore almost all the silver from China, Indonesia, India and other points on the map and from around the world contain large portions of lead, mercury, and several other very dangerous heavy metals.  Your silver purchases from these countries are cheaper because they are contaminated with these dangerous fillers or contaminated by the poisonous ground water of these various countries.
