T. Costal Glass-Sea Glass "Ro-ming" Glass

OOoohh the Goddess just don't quit!!!  Now she has me-The Ogre "ro-ming" around policing up broken glass.  Most of this glass is found, cleaned, drilled, sanded, sawed, filed and delivered to you by ME-The Ogre.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS:
Fire Goddess has recently been commissioned by an Atlanta based corporation to tackle a Recycling and "GO-GREEN" project.  Our answer:  Recycled, recovered and reclaimed Beach glass, sea glass and waste glass from rivers streams and lakes.  Hope you love it as much as the Ogre does creating it for you. Most of the hard work is done by Mother Nature and her children the elements but don't tell the Ranger.  He thinks he is the one that makes the glass beautiful!! On almost any day of the week you can find my Ranger walking the coast or down into a river bed or scouring a lake bank for glass of all kinds.  He says his favorite find is bottles and glass wedged into a rock mound at the mouth of a stream feeder creek.  The glass is heavily worn, etched and covered in moss and algae.  Ranger cleans it up with bleach and a pressure hose and marks where to drill the holes.  Feast on this wonderful jewelry bounty from the Green Mother Earth!!!

 HOW DO WE DO THIS:
Lots of hard work-heat resistant diamond chip impregnated drill bits and band saws-lots of sweat, blood and tears.  But I do it cause I love you.

A word or two from the Ogre:

(Please remember that your actual purchase will differ from referenced photos on this section.  The reclaimed costal glass, beach glass and harvested glass is naturally etched by erosion, sand, wind, water and the effects of tide and Mother Nature.  Sea glass naturally achieves blemishes know s "C" chips.  These are little nicks and dings in the surface of the glass and is part of the charter and organic nature of recycled and reclaimed glass.  Not all finishes will be alike!  Lots of this glass has been recovered along the Gulf coast from Hurricanes and storms less than 4 years ago.  This product is mixed up with glass that has been in the ocean or gulf for many-many years.   Don't despair over small variations of your choices.  The funky and peculiar nature of this glass is what makes it fun and very wearable.  Drilled holes are not always going to line up perfectly-So What!!!  Again it is part of the fun of doing something different.  Fire Goddess will always provide for exchange at one of our physical appearances at a Bead and jewelry show near you.  Bring your product and your receipt).

(Much of the sheet glass or flat stain glass has been removed from doors, panels, murals and large stain glass structures that were torn down by storms, and then thrown back onto beaches, waterways and inlets.  Much of the glassd and the debris is hauled off the from beaches and the Gulf coast.  We still consider this costal glass!  If you don’t then don’t buy it but keep your negative comments to yourself.  We are doing this as a “Go GREEN” project and we get our glass from dumps, drainage coverts, recycling facilities, beaches, rivers, streams, roadsides, bars, stalls, outhouses, Senate House, whore houses, White Houses, torn down houses maybe even your house  We are tired of every bodies expert opinion on beach glass. If you don’t like what we have-DON’T BUY IT!!!  But don’t think for a minute your presence at our shows and appearances grants you the right to tell me what you think!!!  If I want to know what you think I will beat it out of you .  I hope this is enough said on this topic).

Now but the stuff and shut up!!  You are supporting a clean-“Going Green” project and a American artist.  That is all you need to know!!!
