Why Fire Goddess retires her Wonderful Creations?

It is a very tough world for artists-especially American artists.  At every turn, at every show, and almost every day Fire Goddess is challenged by the ever-present theft by Chinese, Indian and other Asian production facilities abroad that buy one of our items or download the image and then mass-produce a cheap lead filled knock-off.  This hurts our quality brand and steals revenue from the original designer;  Susan Barnes.
One of the ways we have been successful defeating this attempt at "Knock-Off" stealing is to assign a limited production quantity or time limited on everything we create.  This confuses the thieves and preserves our uniqueness.
We realize this causes some frustration to you as the buyer and designer but it is necessary to protect our brand and help prevent you, the buyer, from purchasing poor quality items and dangerous items from abroad.
