Step by Step:
1.Take one of the 6" sections of 24 ga wire and make a soft bend in the middle like a long U making sure ends are even. Slip on your first flower disc. Squeeze the wire and make your first "Pinch & Twist close to a grove in the flower disc edge or in between pedals. Pinch & Twist is achieved with your left hand still and holding the disc and your right hand Pinch & Twist the wire in a braided action until you reach the end of your wire. Trim the wire to a neat finish. Now add a 4mm silver bead to the wired tail of the flower disc. Now do a traditional wire wrap of the twisted wire tail to create an eyelet. Repeat to complete all the flower discs in the same manner using the Fire Goddess "Pinch and Twist" technique.
2. Create your own headpins by making small coils at one end of the section of your 24 ga silver wire. You can also use the colored Artistic wire to blend in more colors to your tassel design. Anything goes for you Goddesses!!
Add Fire Goddess beads and silver beads to make additional drop dangles to add to your tassel as seen in the image above.
3. Now union the completed flower discs into the section of the chain starting at the bottom link of the chain with your largest flower disc. Make the union with one of the heavy gauge jump rings. Cluster or group your flower discs and your headpin dangles together one dangle to one disc (Refer to picture above for better understanding) each on their own jump ring. Add to the chain at a different link in the chain kinda like branches on a tree.
4. Now with the 20 ga section of wire-wire wrap the top end of the chain into the last link with all your dangles and discs hanging below. Feed the loose end of the 20 ga wire through the wide end of the cone and up through the narrow end.
With the remaining tail of wire-wrap using the traditional technique to create an eyelet at the top of the cone. Make sure to create a large enough eyelet to accomodate the size cable, chain or necklace material you will be using for your final design.
Trim any excess wire after the wrapping and tuck your tail of wire into the coil with your chain nose pliers.
YOUR TASSEL IS COMPLETE!!!!
